The CQT logo

Our current logo was launched in 2025 after the Centre was elevated to a flagship national research centre for quantum technologies

Who can use the CQT logo?

Staff and student members of the Centre for Quantum Technologies are encouraged to use the current CQT logo in materials relevant to their role at the Centre, including for example research group websites, presentations and posters.

External parties should seek consent before using the Centre’s logo. Please contact us or check with your point of contact for collaborations.

Please read the guidelines on this page carefully before using the files available. You can save png filetypes directly from the images. Branding resources are managed by the Centre’s outreach team, which can provide other filetypes on request.

The primary logo

CQT’s primary logo consists of a symbol and wordmark with the word “Singapore”. The horizontal and vertical versions are below, in options with black or white text.

One-colour logo

If the full-colour logo does not have good contrast with the background, for example if placed on photos or some background colours, the one-colour logo should be used. The one-colour logo should only be used in black or white colourways.

Please do

  • Check that you are using the best version of the logo for your application, with good contrast to the background.
  • Ensure that there is adequate space between the logo and surrounding elements such as text or supporting graphics. For both the horizontal and vertical logos, the clear space around it should always be the height of the symbol.

Please don't

  • Change the position of the symbol or wordmark in relation to each other.
  • Change the typeface of the wordmark.
  • Change the shape or colours of the logo: be careful to avoid distorting the image, and do not use outlined or grayscale versions.
  • Use a file with low resolution that looks blurry.
